Her Aunt Susan, one of her father’s nine sisters, played a significant role in tracing the paternal lineage and inspired her to undertake her own genealogical research journey. Through discussions with Aunt Susan regarding their paternal ancestry, Sally embarked on the endeavor of exploring her maternal heritage. Profound appreciation for history, a diligent quest for details about her family and others, and a readiness to confront challenges along the way, all contribute to to her continuted passion for genealogy.
Continuing education in the field of genealogy represents a crucial aspect of Sally’s research philosophy. She is a member of several genealogical and historical societies and is currently pursuing her goal of certification as a Professional Genealogist.
